Today was my first long motorcycle ride in almost a year. As usual, I had to do some last minute surgery to get it road-worthy. But I made it to CTY, and the trip was awesome!

The bike trip didn't quite go as planned, but Sarah and I had a good three-day tour around west Michigan. Pier-jumping is sweet.

I just finished the riverfest 5k (where Sarah Rospert totally destroyed me) and I'm heading out on the bicycle trip. I'll post pictures of the trip and the pearl river cruise in about a week.

I think the mustang is just one giant money pit that will never be finished.

I guess I'm adapted to the American lifestyle again. I dropped $200 on a bike today.

Today training ride(s) totaled 61 miles. And I was on that little 10-speed mountain bike!

I'm pretty sure the Cleveland Indians can't lose when I'm watching. Even if I do fall asleep.

I made it back to the land of blue skies and SUVs. Readjusting hasn't been too hard so far.

Well, I finalized my contract details today. That means all the screwing and being screwed is finally finished. It looks like my total earnings for these last four months will be around $200.

Today I got about halfway through a lesson and paused to think of the next activity. I had to look back at my lesson plan because I couldn't remember if I was teaching about "Pets" or "Food". I think that says something good about the culture.
