1) How are you going to be a rock star if you support the man? (just kidding, that's a joke)
2)If you want people to comment on your blog, you should make it easier for them to figure out how to do that
3) Wow I'm listening to Pandora and Long December came on exactly when I started writing this...I think it's a sign
4)I wish my moral reflections were as clear as yours are right now
5)I don't know what I think, but I do know that the day after I read this I was at Aldi and there was an extra cart floating around the store, so I took it up to the cart row, and I really wanted the quarter to put in my Spain jar, but then I figured that wasn't my quarter to begin with and someone else might really need that quarter, or that shopping cart for that matter (ok my moral revalations don't begin to compare with yours)
6)I think I agree with your position.
7)Here's a question though: does the law really help? Is setting that minimum standard a really good idea, or is that what motivates us to only look out for ourselves? Is that an excuse to go by a minimum standard, when if there was nothing telling us what to do we would do what was right and fair, and hopefully be punished by our peers if it wasn't right and fair? (Did that make sense?)
8) So what this really gets me thinking about is why are we so selfish? In every type of circumstance! What in our culture trains us to always be looking out for ourselves? One of the potential answers scares me...could it be sports? While I have been championing sports for all the good values they teach us and wanting to evangalize good morals through sport, do I really have it all backwards?
9)You know how you said to think about those situations in advance so we are prepared in the heat of the moment? How would you propose someone do that? (also in that paragraph you have a typo - preforming)
10)Can I print this blog off, put my name on it, and turn it in for my communication and ethics class? (just kidding! This is just a joke!! (although you still owe me one for Godzilla))
yeah, you're right. I didn't realize that the comment form was hidden on my blog posts. I guess that's why I've gotten email but no comments about it. It's there now like you would expect. If you want to copy this comment over there, you can now. Also, thanks for pointing out the typo.
And finally, you're welcome to use this for any class you want. But these comments are on the public internet, so there might be some evidence :)
