Evening run around the neighborhood in the dark after getting back from a track meet at Lawrenceville. Despite me being sleepy and bummed about how long the meet was, the run felt great. It was about 5°C outside and I ran in shorts, new shoes, spandex shirt, and long-sleeved T-shirt. It felt great.
I had one step on the side of a hole that began to feel like a left ankle roll, but it didn't roll. My ankle avoided the roll. Maybe the exercises I had been doing really helped. Or maybe it is just that the left ankle is stronger. I should still do the ankle exercises once in a while now that I'm only stretching for 7 minutes each day instead of 10.
